AAC Aware

Hi! I’m Anna Ware, and I have been a speech language pathologist since 2009! I love my career and especially fostering individual relationships with each of my clients and families. I love to see the progress and confidence grow in each person!

I specialize in many areas across the lifespan including literacy, apraxia, phonological processes, language deficits, aphasia and especially augmentative alternative communication (AAC). I even can help you name what is challenging even when you may not know yet! It’s my job to know what evidence based treatment options exist.

As my private practice has grown I encompass many areas and view my AAC name to have grown to be “All About Communication!” It started originally as I have extensive AAC experience (which can be hard to find), but I have grown to have a much broader and bigger scope of practice.

I have worked collaboratively and educated occupational and physical therapists at the world’s top rehabilitation hospitals. This experience has led me to develop a broad interdisciplinary approach to my practice. 

I live in the northwest side of Chicago and can work with you in person at your home or via telehealth within the state of Illinois. I started this practice to better meet your needs outside of the traditional clinic setting.
